I'm not shure, but I think that there was a discusion about the modem on v5535.
I think that there isnt integrated modem at all models v5535, it is an aditional hardware which you need to order it separetly.
Do a litle search and you will find the Topic where it was discused.

The "h" means Hex, I should not have broth it up, couse I just coused unnecesary confusion.. :? When you presed the dump button, were there only zeros displayed in the window of the HWDirect ? Use HexWorkshop wich is much better and have more options, couse you dont have a registered WinHe...

Did you got the latest drivers form Fujitsu ??
Couse thay are not realy the latest, they are several versions older than the latest ones that can be found on SiS site.
Download the SiS UniVGA5 graphics driver from here:

You can try changind the priority of the devices with PgUP/PgDn as well as with +/-. Do you save your new settings after you make the changes ?? Couse this kind of problem is not that usual, couse your bios seems to be working well, that is if you are able to boot, which I think you can. I dont thin...

Download the latest drivers from intel's site: http://support.intel.com/support/chipsets/sb/CS-022768.htm I have V5505 and never had such a problems, even with the old drivers. If the problem persists after this then it is most likely it is a hardware fault. Take it to the FSC service center. But ta...

Your GFX (Video Card) uses shaerd memory of 256 MB from the RAM.
Use a sofware like Everest to see exactly how much shared RAM uses your Video Card.
