reasons could be: plugged in USB hub. Monitor backdriving effect. try a different monitor. remove any usb hub if there is one.
Cant think of anything else i take it theres no log events in the bios indicating anything?

Try going desktop -> Device manager -> down to Network Adapters -> Right click wireless adapter -> choose uninstall in the box below tick remove all driver then click uninstall - then try installing correct driver

run the diagnostic test from link http://tinyurl.com/fdiags this is a fujitsu tool makes a usb stick bootable with the files needed. run a quick test if no fault found run a full test.
This will check your hardware for any fault. If it returns a code let me know ill look into decoding it.

Maybe try loading bios defaults. If problem persists try updating bios if your bios area shows version under 2.15 -
