Download, unpack and run CPU-Z:

You will see "Channels #" on 'Memory" tab.

If BIOS is the solution, then you could read it in BIOS release notes.

But personally I think that you just have an overheating problem and fan control cannot change fan speed in relatively small units. Probably it has just three positions: off, 1000 and 3000 rpm.

If the site says so, then it is. At least manufacturer's site must be the most reliable source. The mobo seems to be quite old and appatently supports only max 512MB of memory. But if you have a chip of 512MB, you could stick it into the motherboard and try to turn it on. And then write here about r...

Hi, Read this: Tonight my home automation server (running Windows Server 2003) bluescreened with a STOP 0xC2, BAD_POOL_CALLER fault. The specifics of the fault were 0xC2 (0x00000007, 0x00001153, ...). Rebooting caused a chkdsk and then the system came up...and promptly blue screened again. According...

When are you having this error? At what time of boot?
Is this a "blue screen"? Or is this a dialog box error?
Could you make a readable photo of your screen with this error or type here a text of the error literally?

PS I have no idea, what this error is and what it is about...

Could you tell us, what BIOS manufacturer and version you have?

PS I made a problem with stand-by by installing BIOS version 602, but then I solved the problem by installing BIOS version 802 on my Scaleo P.

Generally, any damage of parts (especially heatsink and related) can cause overheating or other problems. If the part, which is loose, is a part of heatsink then should by a new heatsink. If this is a part of motherboard then buy a new motherboard. I think that costs will not be much higher or, most...
