Re: RAM Upgrade beyond 4GB

My fault, I could have been clearer. I was refering to convertible 2-in-1 laptops such as , the HP TX2, Toshiba M700 or the models the op and I have. These types of laptop configurations have always been far and few between but now with the discontinuation of Fujitsu's T726 nobody makes a 2-in-1 wit...

Re: RAM Upgrade beyond 4GB

Yes, and unfortunately no one makes anything like the Lifebook T4220 anymore with respect to having an integrated optical drive. The last computer on earth configured like that is the Lifebook T726 which I have... Toshiba who was a competitor stopped making them and really the only thing left is non...

Re: 3 displays 1 Port Replicator

Update 2 Yes!!! The Multi-Stream Transport (MST) hub worked a treat with my Fujitsu Lifebook and port replicator. Now all of my monitors are up: IMG_0013 - Copy.JPG Interestingly, datasheet for the port replicator says that this is the maximum resolution: 2 displays @ 4,096 x 2,160 That equals 17,6...

Re: 3 displays 1 Port Replicator

I however do not use the monitor I carried to the library and don't even have the two I used at the library. To use with my own monitors I am intending on purchasing a MST hub since none of my monitors have a display port input and output. This is the one I will buy and report back on regarding whet...

Re: 3 displays 1 Port Replicator

Update 1 The Fujitsu Lifebook FPCPR231 Port Replicator and the T726 support Display Port 1.2 and can be used to daisy chain monitors together. I successfully connected 3 monitors, although not all my own, when I hiked to my Universities library earlier today with my Lifebook, it's port replicator, ...

Re: LifeBook T900, Port Replicator, DVI port

A year and a half latter I'm having a similar issue with my Lifebook not outputting through VGA on its dedicated docking station. Both display ports work fine but the third monitor wont show up via VGA... none of the documentation alludes to this limitation so I don't know what to think. I hope it w...

Re: Intermittent wireless connection

Are you on the latest driver? Sometimes it is recommended to be on an earlier driver. Might want to try different drivers. It looks like your computer even has a "wireless radio switch driver"... http://support.fujitsupc.com/CS/Portal/supportsearch.do# Try different drivers before taking y...

Re: RAM Upgrade beyond 4GB

I don't think so. Your product specifies 4GB maximum:
https://content.etilize.com/Manufacturer-Brochure/1011876277.pdf

Additionally, a popular memory vendor specifies 2x2GB:

Re: Lifebook Q series reset

This article shows you how:
https://neosmart.net/wiki/restore-to-factory-settings/#Restore_Windows_XP_to_factory_settings

Microsoft calls resetting to "restore to factory settings" so look for that heading on the page.
