Is it possible to install non Fujitsu branded add-on PCIe cards in this server? I have a Intel i350-t4 network adapter and was trying to install it in the server, but it doesn't seem to work. I have a SAS-raid card ( D2616) installed in PCIe slot 5, and I've tested the network adaper in PCIe slots 2...

Never mind, I read the specifications on the already installed drived (300gb Seagate Savvio 10K.5), an they are 15mm thick. So that pretty much answers my question.

Is it perhaps possible to access the BOIS by accessing the iRMC S3 and set the boot device: "BIOS Setup"

The usual drive thickness is 10mm, but some of the larger capacity drives are 15mm thick, will they fit too?

What is the largest physical disk size detected by the RAID Controller - SAS 6Gb/s RAID 5/6
512MB (D2616), will it detect a 8TB or 10TB disk?

It's impossible to say anything definitely.
You can olso try to reset the bios by removing the CMOS battey and leave it out over night and see if that helps.

One possible cause could be bad capacitors on the system board.
Can you see if any of them are deformed or if they have leaked?

I was thinking of the E5-2450L which is not in the list, but E5-2440L and e5-2450 is listed, so I can't see why the E5-2450L shouldn't work.

Do Primergy TX150 S8 supports all Intel® Xeon® E5-1400 / E5-2400 CPU:s, or only the ones listed in this data sheet:
