Finally had enough time to investigate this further, had a chat with Fujitsu Technical support who could not offer a solution but recommended that installation using the serverview manager was the only supported method of getting Server 2012R2 64 onto the machine, this is not an option in the event ...

Yes, it was one of the first things I tried but that just repeats the listing of 256 drives all called "LSI Embedded Megaraid" with no method of determining which one is correct, when the drivers are loaded when installing server 2012R2 the system hourglasses for ages as it works it's was ...

It was created using server backup, wbadmin. I selected the bare metal recovery image backup. The problems is the megasr1.inf file, it list 100's of different hardware devices, when windows is installing and you load the drivers it takes about 3 minutes before it presents you with the correct driver...

I want to do the same thing but am having problems finding the correct 2003 64 bit driver for the embedded lsi raid, what driver did you use, the tx100s2 gave stop 0x7b errors, a lenovo driver allowed the os to load but appears to run very slowly.
