One more update:

Installing MCE 2005 to the system enables the display.
MCE makes use of the display. I also has the SCM software installed.

Just an update:
I installed Intervideo Home Theatre from one of the supplied disk from Fujitsu and this program enables the display. I cannot get Media Portal to send info to the display.

I managed to get hold of a drivercd, but this did not solve the problem of the nonworking lcd for me.
