my RAM speed is slower than the front bus speed of the T7250.- This may be the reason. I would try 800Mhz RAM first.
BTW, T7250 is not the best supported processor. I saw people installing T9500/9600 (but did not ever tried myself)

I had a similar problem with 640gb samsung. There is a problem with controller in SATA300 with some HDDs. Solved it by switching to SATA150 mode. It can be done by a switch on a hard drive depending on a manufacturer.
Check your SMART first (with Everest for example).

If you want to reduce temperature you can try to reduce CPU voltage. check for RMclock.

1) you have already used this trasmitting paste on your V5535 I couldn't find anything really good in my town. As far as I understood the one I advised you is one of the best. I used Alsil-3. Just don't buy anything in very small packages, where you don't see a producer or you suppose it is from Chi...

One good example is Arctic cooling MX-3. Try to google for it.
Just go to any computer shop and tell that you have a problem with CPU temp.

No. It is put on the top CPU. Looks like sour cream in my case. It should be replaced every year. You'd better google it

I have 62/65 per core now. core2duo T5750

I also installed 4gb. My bios counts it up to 4447MB while testing, which is quite strange. But in win xp sp2 with PAE I can see only 3007MB.
