I'll try this takedown today, when the screen will be available. But someone here in the company tested to manipulate the screen menu with the user manual, and says to me that the Asus VH222 D model of the VH222 series can't select the input type. Unfortunately, I can't say where the Notebook was purchased. The screen which is working now, is a screen with a max resolution of 1280x1024, so I think the fact it is working is normal, because it's under 1900x1200 (maximum you gave me), and under 1600x1200 (maximum I found). So, there are two case...

Max. resolution for external displays is 1920 x 1200 / true color / 85Hz (tbd.) on this unit. Could you show me where you saw this ?
