Have the same issue. My V5535 under WinXP + RMClock Utility gave me 2 hours of working (6 cell battery). But Win7 only 1.5 hour. I tried to edit power scheme, the same result.
Hello, just try usual steps: install other sis vga driver, or/and other os (win 7 for example). If the problem persists - it's will be hardware, so you need to go to the F/S service. My v5535 working like a champ with win7.
