Re: Primergy RX300 S2 OS Compatibility

I'm running Debian GNU/Linux 6.0.4 (squeeze) on FUJITSU PRIMERGY RX300 S2. Strange bug that has nothing to do with particular OS: The machine is unable to pass the POST screen and boot into the OS without keyboard being present! Even though BIOS is set not to detect keyboard errors etc... So we ende...

Re: [Pa3553] Overheating has caused damage to the Northbridg

This could be an AMD related issue (Pa series). On similar Pi series such overheating problems are less likely to occur. Check your CPU / MB temperature. On my Pi (C2D Intel CPU) temps never go above 60c. The fan takes it down to ~45 and switches itself off :) And again when it reaches the threshold...

32bit W7 works just fine? Perhaps 64bit driver is 'bad' somehow or Flash plugin x64 has gone crazy :x

Re: COPROCESSOR ISSUE (Fujitsu-Siemens PA2548)

Perhaps your OS isn't on C:, try searching other partitions as well. You need a proper nvidia chipset driver, try x86 W7.

Else - try to figure out if your notebook has any support for W7, and above all x64 OS, I doubt).

Re: AMILO PA3553

I think that your motherboard has gone crazy (perhaps dead)... and the bad news is that you cannot* change notebook MB on your own.. you'll have to go to Fujitsu local office and ask them for a help (I hope that your notebook is still under warranty period, even if it isn't they can help you since m...

Re: AMILO PA3553

You cannot repair bad RAM module... you have to purchase new module - in any local computer shop, just ask for SODIMM DDR2 module 1 or 2 GB size, speed 800 MHz. P.S. overheating might be causing damage to the RAM, so don't be surprised if your 2nd or brand new module gets the same destiny after some...

Re: Pa3553 + SSD = Success!

So this upgrade could be done with any notebook model? Cool... I'll consider it when SSD's become cheaper :) At this point an internal WD drive is OK for me.

Re: [Pa 3553] WIN7, consider replacing your battery - proble

I understand your concern... I think that none of them will refund you anything, that would be - sorry, but you should have bought new notebook certified and tested for W7 :? :) Microsoft denies their responsibility, which in fact is still under question and the truth is OEM's, BIOS manufactu...

Re: [Pa 3553] WIN7, consider replacing your battery - proble

From what I've read on the net, this is a big time issue for Microsoft and it's NOT a BIOS/driver issue but W7 handling battery etc. Unfortunately, your battery might be permanently damaged and even if you go back to Vista/other OS your battery levels will still be low (almost dead). Many notebook m...

Are you running x64 OS or x86 (32bit)?
