Yes, the RAM upgrade was fine, though i only have 1G as it seems enough. I havent learnt a thing about better CPU, but i think it wiil stay as it is for the time being. I put 160G in, it works fine. i might chance to buy a new model, if i want better performance.

Amilo 7640 CPU upgrade - replace?

Which CPUs are available to upgrade Amilo 7640? It comes with AMD Sempron 3000+. May its (AMI) motherboard accomodate 64 bit CPUs? Are Intels possible? Also can it manage 2x1G Ram in its 2 slots?

solution:
ivgot hungarian version. you have to have Energy Control(?) settings: Desktop - !!! not Laptop. Silly isntit? but works.
