The VFD drivers dont give you and tools to change what the VFD displays. The best way to check the drivers are working is to start the mediacenter and tune to a tv channel and see if the display shows the current channel and programe. If you wish to change what the display says instead of "SCA...

Don't know much about the Scaleo E, but doubt that there ever were any version with that small amount of RAM.
Also doubt that Vista actually can run with that small size. It needs more memory.

Remember that the P4 @ 3GHz is a single core CPU. Not as smooth as a dual or quad core CPU at lower speeds.
