you need to enable tapping on the synaptics SW... if memory serves me well this is how to do it... click on the touchpad icon on the bottom right next to the time... click on... think it's properties... then device properties... or device settings... then click on settings... then tick next to where...
sorry, your right... it was 3 DVD's with the older units... with the new 2000 and the 3000 thats just been released (not sure on the 3000's) they have 2 DVD's...
just let them know whats happening... they should send you out a set of recovery discs, i think.... do it sooner rather than later tho... they won't send it if it's not in warranty anymore...
Vista recovery... which is bootable Drivers disc... you need that... applications disc... which you don't really need unless you want all the freebie SW that comes with it...
When it comes to cirtain things they might ask you to restore the unit to vista before they support you.. but if it's something like no power to the unit or no post then they'd support you... FSC say that they would not support that unit with any other os than vista... mostly because the drivers hav...
