Hi all ... I use a lot of mainboard type Fujitsu Siemens D2151-A since 2006 until now. To my knowledge, this type is also commonly used in Fujitsu Siemens PC. Lately I see many 2 capacitors (3300uF, 6.3V) near the ATX connector to break easily. Especially when first turned on when assembled. If not ...

All fans work.
Recovery BIOS can't run.
Any idea?

I meet similar symptom in mainboard following:

D1837 & D2151. After checked, onboard VGA death.

Myself still confusing what becoming its(the cause.

Possibly there are someone which able to explain.

maybe your bios is corrupt. if you know mainboard version...

set jumper to bios recovery

start your PC with recovery bios diskette

after finish, turn off PC. set jumper to normal.

turn on PC.

recovery bios (latest ver) can't help for this problem.
I removed the bios battery for about 10 sec, put it back in & all worked ok.
date reset to 01/01/2001 -> it's no problem :D
problem solved.
