Re: RX2540 Won't Boot

You will probably need to log into the iRMC to view the event log, which may give some indication of what is the other problem.

Otherwise, it would be a case of changing the mainboard.

Have you checked whether all the server blades have the same mezzanine card?

Re: BX400 S1 & BX2560M2 Network

Somewhat confused as the original graphic shows port 19 & 20 as live on CB2, but your photograph shows no cables. Is CB2 running in Switch mode or IBP mode? To me is looks like the connection blade is not seeing the server blade (apart from #4) at all. Which suggests a physical issue - mezz card...

Re: BX400 S1 & BX2560M2 Network

Have a look at the BX2560 M2 Upgrade and Maintenance Manual https://support.ts.fujitsu.com/indexdownload.asp?Softwareguid=0498DE65-8D87-4A91-87BB-5D30DCD885A 7 Section 7.1.1.3 Population rules for mezzanine cards (page 127) explains mezzanine slot numbering Population rules for mezzanine cards in th...

Re: BX400 S1 Failover Cluster issues

Question: Is it always Node 6 that has a problem? Or is it just representative of the latest failure?

Also have you looked Windows System Event Logs to see if it gives any hints?

Re: BX400 S1 & BX2560M2 Network

Has this recently stopped working? If so, what changes were made at that time?

Have you checked the switch configuration of CB2 to ensure that the ports are not shutdown?

In the servers, is the add-in card ethernet card in all servers in mezzanine one?

Re: Connecting UPS to TX1310m3

Shutting down the server would normally be done by the installed Operating System. You may need an agent from the UPS to initiate that request.

Re: after replace disk error e0064 on eternus dx100 s4

0x0064 ==> Not Supported Disk

You cannot use any 4 TB disk in the ETERNUS. It must have the correct firmware.

You need to obtain replacement disks through an authorised partner and tell them it for for an ETERNUS not a PRIMERGY, PC, etc.

Re: going from raid 1 to raid 5

Yes I think this should be possible. In ServerView RAID Manager, look under RAID Level Migration. Can take some time, suggest you find a quiet time to do it and (just in case) ensure you have a complete backup. Different system I jnow but have a look at https://forum.ts.fujitsu.com/forum/viewtopic.p...

Re: Primergy TX 300 S8

I am a bit confused. When you put the new disk in, did it become part of the RAID 0. I.e. data stripped across both disks with a logical size of 2x Disk size? If so, you have an immediate problem with a 2 disk RAID 1 having half the available disk capacity of the 2 disk RAID 0.

Re: Primergy TX1310 M1 Keeps stopping

I would start by replacing the mainboard, followed by PSU.

Re: Primergy TX1310 M1 Keeps stopping

Given that there is no BMC and thus no ErrorLog, diagnostics will have to be down the hard way.

When you say shuts down - does it just die? Might be faulty power supply or mainboard.
Suggest you strip system down to minimum configuration, and then replace parts until error is resolved.

I think they should work. Have you tried other disks in the same slot to rule out cabling/connection issues?

Re: UPDATING FIRMWARE PRIMEQUEST and PRIMERGY

If you have the serial numbers of the servers, you should be able to find the downloads on http://support.ts.fujitsu.com . However, with the PRIMEQUEST in particular, I would no recommend working on it unless you have done some training and understand the consequences of your activities.

Have you tried connecting to the iRMC to see what has been logged in the SEL?
