If its only 8 months old then dont mess about with it and void your warranty.
Call it in and get FS to fix it.

Re: [Pro V2055] Start Up

It COULD be a loose connection between the screen and the mainboard. Worth a look, I havent dismantled that particular model but you will probably need to remove the trim above the keyboard, open the screen untill the whole machine is opened out flat and gently try to remove the trim (check for any ...

Re: [Xa1526] notebook will not start

Have you tried connecting an external monitor to see if you get any display on that ?
I assume from your description of the problem that there are no beeps from the machine and no display whatsoever ?

Re: AMILO La 1703-30B

Anyone have a suggestion of what I sholud do?

Take it straight back to the store where you purchased it as you have been given a duff machine, do not settle for a repair, you want a replacement.

Re: T4215 Tablet Lifebook Heating Problems, any solutions?

Try cleaning the cpu fan and heatsink first, a can of compressed air is usefull for this.
If you still have a heat problem following the clean out then you could try a laptop cooling pad, not expensive and they can do a good job.

Re: pc tries to boot

Hi 2e1ehm, you could try swapping the RAM or even trying your existing stick in another slot just as an experiment but the fact that you get no beeps at all on power up does not sound good, if it was a fault with GPU, RAM, CPU etc you should get a bios error code (a beep code). Check all the connect...

Re: [P] Pc turning off and on by itself?

If you do remove the heatsink from the CPU then you should remove any old thermal compound and replace it with new before re-fitting the heatsink again.

Re: Fails to boot up

Ok a little short on detail but are there any beeps from the machine whilst trying to boot ?
Have you tried using another graphics card to eliminate GPU failure ?
Is the CPU fan running ?
Did you change anything prior to this issue ?

Re: Unable to add more RAM

If the new memory is not recognised with the other RAM and the machine will not boot with only the new memory fitted then are you sure the 1GB stick is ok ? Do you get a beep code when booting with only the 1GB stick fitted ? Your machine will take up to 4GB but will only show 3 to 3.5GB running XP ...
