Shamanda, undervolting does not effect laptop speed at all. The only worry with it, is that you may make your system unstable if you go too low with the voltage, but there as tests to find the optimum setup.

Hiya,

Try this installing this...

http://www.pbus-167.com/

Make sure the CPU speed is set to "Dynamic switching" (recommended) or "Max Performance".

Your computer maybe set to a Battery optimal mode or such like, and only running at minimum speed.

Hope this helps.

[Amilo M] 1437G CPU/RAM UPGRADE OPTIONS?

Hi all, I've had my Amilo M 1437G for a few years now and I'm wondering if I can perform any upgrades to it. So I'm wondering if ... 1. I can upgrade my CPU from a Pentium M 750 to either a 760 or 765 (maybe pin-mod?) (£30 ish) 2. I can upgrade my current 2x 512 DDR2 PC2-3200 memory, with 2x 1024 DD...

Hi All, Just been reading threads about the Lagging issue with these FS laptops. I have a Amilo M 1437G (ATI x700, and P50EA0 mobo). I used to experience a few "lagging issues" occasionally, however now I have no problems with the laptop at all, well in XP anyway, Vista drivers dont seem t...

Hiya, This sounds like more of a problem with Vista as opposed to your FS laptop. Have you tried using WPA to secure your wireless network? I'm can connect to a WPA wifi network through Windows Vista Ultimate. Need to configure the router for this. I guess other things you could try include checking...

I'm having the same sounds problems too!

Some user have managed to get their sound dial working by using Realtek's XP drivers. However this doesn't work for me. Have tried loads of Realtek drivers still with no luck. :(

Hi mega, This article explains how to undervolt your laptop using RMClock (and yes normal version is completely free). I recommend undervolting any laptop (what ever the OS, it just makes things cooler and quieter! (and longer battery life)). http://www.nordichardware.com/Articles/?page=1&skrive...

Hi all, I had this problem on my 1437G, with Vista. Fan would run at full speed no matter what the CPU load was. I managed to fix it by use RMClock http://cpu.rightmark.org/products/rmclock.shtml Used this to manually set different clocks to PID settings and also to undervolt the CPU which is always...
