I have Scaleo Pa 1519 with Asus M2R-FVM motherboard. And there is a note in manual that this computer can run only up to 3 GB RAM.
Did you check manual for your motherboard?

Take your PC to service center if you have a warranty. Or buy a new DVD-ROM if you don't. If you do not have a warranty and you have much time, you could also try opening the DVD-ROM and look inside for some pieces of plastic, which prevent it from closing. If there are not any mechanical faults, th...

Actually, I use the second drive for backup. I am obviously aware about possible and probable disk failure. I am too lazy for openins the case and disconnecting the drive. Because I am pretty sure that the WD drive makes the noise. And because I use one partition on it for keeping Windows page file ...

[Scaleo P] Strange HDD noise

Hi, I have Scaleo Pa 1519 with M2R-FVM motherboard. It has had Seagate ST3250824AS since I bought it. And I added Western-Digital WD1600JS-08NCB1 later. Both are SATA. WD drive supports low-niose management option in BIOS. Sometimes I hear strange noise from hard drives. I am not sure, which of them...

Windows Media Player should usually download codecs automatically. But it fails often in practice. You miss codecs, because you, probably, did not re-install some DVD player, which often comes as OEM software and has MPEG2 codecs in the pack. Try download some codeck pack and install it. Personally ...

I guess that necessary settings you could find in hardware properties for your card. If they don't exist, then the driver does not support such settings. I 'd suggest to search and asquire another parallel port adapter, which could set necessary operation modes via driver. You could consider using n...

So, you have three options left: 1) If you are unsure about computer stuff, so should just take it to service if you have warranty. Or should take it to service and pay for it, if you don't. 2) Clear your CMOS. There is a jumper on your mobo, which is marked like CMSCLR or CLRCMS or smth like this. ...

If you find the mentioned motherboard on asus site, then you probably could. But I think that a8ne-fm is a oem product, i.e. it's supported by retailer, which is F-S in our case. Bioses from other asus MB's may not be supported by this product. So, I would say that you cannot put in any other bios, ...

The question comes now. After I changed PSU to 500W Zalman. Originally it was 350W. So, now everything works, including upgraded video (ASUS GF 7600GT), additional SATA HDD and additional case fan. I bought also a power consumption meter (or how it is called). I.e. the thing, which plugs between wal...
