[Amilo D] Battery for Amilo D 6800

Hi!
Needless to say; my computer is in dire need of a new battery. It's a 2001/2002 model, so it doesn't surprise me that the battery holds for about 15-20 minutes.
Anyone know where I can buy a new battery (preferably in Europe)? Or should i just give Fujitsu-Siemens a call?

Ati Radeon M6P

Hi again!
I checked the web for some drivers, and it seems that omegadrivers.net has a version based on the ATI catalyst 6.5 that work flawlessly with a M6P. And from what I understand, it probably works with all ATI mobility cards.

Newest ATI drivers

It seems the newest drivers available for Ati Radeon M6P would be the drivers at omegadrivers.net. I've checked version Radeon Omega Drivers 3.8.252 (Catalyst 6.5) and they work perfectly. I recommend them to others in dire need.

Catalyst for M6P?

Hi! From what I understand, these drivers ONLY apply to the newer ATI graphis card (from Radeon 9600 series)? Have you had any luck in finding any drivers for older cards, like M6P (for Amilo D 6800)? I've found some drivers from 2002, thou they were not downloaded directly from ATI's homepage (they...

Progress

Well, the fan has been cleaned, thou I've figured out that I don't have to take the whole thing out. One does only have to take off the lid fastened with 5 or 6 small screws and brush off the dust within. I have also installed a newer version of the ATI Radeon M6P drivers and the computer (even whil...

Heat Sink

Thx for the reply, but another question arises since I am no computer geek ;) Heat sink means CPU fan? Just kidding :D But after Ive done what you suggested, shouldnt I then buy some of that silicon mass one has in between the CPU and CPU fan? I have never done this on a laptop, so I have no idea ho...

Amilo D 6800 P4 2000Mhz

As you can see in the topic, this is indeed a very old - ancient, machine. But I am still using it and I surely demand some support with this thing. First of all I cant believe there were made no attempts of improving the drivers since september 2001, thou the support sites of fujitsu prove me wrong...
