You didn't specify weather you wanted software or hardware brigthness. The other fn functions are just windows tasks, automated. Windows can't control your laptops hardware settings, such as screen brightness. There's a special function probably coded in the motherboard to control such stuff, and FS...

Well usually there's a "Brightness" setting in Color Correction settings in your gfx card's control panel. Your laptop has a GeForce right? So in the Forceware software there should be something like this http://img41.imageshack.us/img41/3928/all8ug.png (image found in google images) Try t...

My guess is that widescreen came into pcs and laptops mainly for entertainment reasons. Don't forget that a pc is not only a word processing machine. Or else you could just keep using your old laptops. A pc/laptop should also offer gaming and entertainment experience. There are special resolutions f...

Hello i've got a M7400 and bought these ram for it. Problem is it wont fit exactly cause they're a bit bigger in length so they wont sit exactly on their base. They have a small incline upwards, but still closed the lid and screwed (lid is slightly open as well). Everything works ok but will this ha...

Indeed. Well im using a lot of my CPU so optimal battery is not a solution since i want a good performance on any software i run. I'll just go with dynamic switching, and i'll leave the voltage levels as the are. Running with just IE my cpu is at 50-55 Celcius, but running a cpu intensive app can ca...

I guess your battery needs replacing. Either that, or maybe it doesn't make well contact with the computer. I have a 7400 too but no problems, cause i don't work with it unplugged alot. So if you'll need it unplugged id suggest you have some expert take a look at it... you don't want it exploding on...

there are quite a few sites that sell these ram, and they're a bit
expensive... but you could just see the type of ram and check ebay.

Good Luck!

Duno if this helps:

Right Click My Computer, Properties, Hardware, Device Manager, IrDA Fast Infrared Port (dbl click it), Driver, then either choose:
Roll Back and see if it works or,
Uninstall, and reinstall the old ones you have.

Good Luck!

I'd recommend Verbatim's 16X DVD+R thats what i use... i tried some other brands but not all work. Also, its not able to write on most CD brands either, while it can barely read DVD-Rs.

Also, i'd recommend Nero 7+ as it gives u prescious info on the disks and drives. Good Luck
