there are 24 slots only 12 populated slots, are all the 24 slots available to the one raid controller? see attachment

also how would I view server raid if the operating system is VMware ESXi ?

hi everyone I have inherited a RX2540 M2 Fujitsu server it has 12 disks S26361-F5531-L560 600GB 15K HDD 2.5" SAS 12GB HP in a RAID5 with NO hot spares. I want to add 2 hot spares to this array, is this possible and easy to do without dismantling the current array? thanks in advance Marc
