wlan problem

Postby massimo » Sat Mar 25, 2006 12:13

Sorry ,but my German so poor so I write in English.

Has anyone burned DVD movies to your Pc and then tried to play it with
AMC 570.

I have USB D 1705 adapter in AMC and when I play music or Nero digital recordings everything is Fine but when I try to play movies that are normal DVD size(over 4 gt) it seems that the speed of the adapter is not enough because the movie gets like slowmotion.

I could play Nero Digital but the quality of the picture is too poor.

try normal network cabel. if the movie is the in normal speed you know that the wlan bandwith isnt enough. also try changing wlan channel (cause if its in use this can limit your bandwith)

While negotiating the network connection for the WLAN both peers select an appropriate bandwith, which may be below 11 Mbit (802.11b).
Usually the bandwith is given in the status information of the WLAN network connection. It is depending on the strength and quality of the connection. So either selecting a different channel (less distorsion) or changing the Antenna arrengement to get a better received signal strength may help to get a higher bandwith.
