MPEG4 broadcast

I have been using my AMC 570 DVB-T for 2 years to my full satisfaction. Now from 1/11 the Danish broadcast has been changed from MPEG2 to MPEG4 (some MPEG2 channels still exist). But apparently my media center does not support this (though it says so in the manual). The screen just freezez with the picture from the last channel. Does anyone have any experiences with this, and can it be made to work with som software/hardware upgrades.

Arne from Denmark

P.S. Answers in German are also welcome

Hej Arne,

I believe the DVB-T boards used in the AMC do not support MPEG4 broadcast. If the manual says the appliance is able to display MPEG4 video that means playback of external media only. As far as I know there's no solution to substitute the boards to MPEG4 capable devices due to driver issues up to now.

In think the main problem is the FSC-Software (Codecs, FiTv, PS-Writer, Cutter etc.), which is not ready for MPEG4 broadcast.
