My reply to Fujitsu "helpdesk" after they invited me to order new disks (at a price);

I shall be blunt and honest...the business name of fugitsu is not "top of the pops" in our household right now after reading your email. My son and myself have exactly the same machine. We both made the 3 recovery disks at the begining as was instructed on good quality DVD+R and these disks were stored correctly in darkness and in covers. There was no damage or scratches to them.

Neither of the recovery disk sets works!!!

Coincidence? That we, and judging by your forum many others too, have the same problem indicates a common failure by Fujitsu. That you now want further money from us, to the tune of £36.50 each to purchase replcement disks I consider profiteering sharp practice that puts a serious question in my mind if I wish to deal or purchase from your company in the future. There is no guarentee these disks would work either. good money after bad? I really am quite appalled with your company.

Your further comment in this matter would be welcome.
