Everything has worked fine until we moved our devices to another location. When we switched them on again, Arcserve couldn't perform a proper backup on tape because there were no tapes in the unit... weird... we then investigated the issue and we found out that the "active" magazine was now the left one!!
Which was empty, of course, because all our tapes were in the right magazine!! We were astonished... okay, we pulled the tapes off and used the left magazine as our active magazine... well, Arcserve does not recognize the tapes in the left magazine! When we restart the Tape Module, it just keeps sating "Please wait" and we are not able to see our tapes and labels in the Device Manager.
So, how can we restore our right magazine in the TX24 S2 as the active one??? Or... how can we force Arcserve to detect the left magazine with our current tapes???
